Plastic is one of the major causes of environmental pollution, especially in the marine environment, and the so-called "microplastics" that enter the circuit of all food chains, including those of human food, are particularly dangerous.

CAD IT promotes a project aimed at achieving, through progressive phases, but with certain and close times, objectives of drastic reduction in the use of plastic and more generally of conscious consumption and sustainable waste management. Through the installation of free water withdrawal points and the delivery of over 600 bottles to employees, the project saves over 20,000 plastic bottles consumed in a year. The plastic glasses have been replaced by eco-friendly glasses made of polylactic acid (PLA) and cardboard glasses made of compostable material. #caditplasticfree contributes to CO2 savings in the atmosphere and waste disposal.
